Late last month, BMW announced that the first-ever BMW X2 is joining the BMW X family of vehicles. Boasting a specially-tuned chassis, the intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system, and a state-of-the-art BMW TwinPower Turbo engine, this all-new Sports Activity Vehicle strikes a balance of maximum efficiency and driving dynamics.

While the BMW X2 is shorter and lower than the BMW X1, it's more muscular-looking thanks to the shared wheelbase.

The vehicle's interior is driver-centric, featuring controls that are positioned to make it easy for the driver operate them and to gather information quickly. With the BMW Connected app and BMW ConnectedDrive Services integrated, it's easier than ever for drivers to organize and go about their daily routines.

The 2018 BMW X2 xDrive28i will debut powered by a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine that teams with an 8-speed Steptronic transmission to produce 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. In fact, the BMW X2 is able to deliver a is 0-60 mph time of only 6.3 seconds.
